For the 2026 Oxford Half, Carlos, Marie, Vincent, John, Nando and Marci are running together to raise money for Asylum Welcome. We believe Oxford should be a city where refugees and people seeking sanctuary feel safe, supported and genuinely welcome. We’re proud to run for a cause that helps make that vision a reality, and we’d be hugely grateful for your support.

Every week, people arrive in Oxfordshire seeking safety and a chance to rebuild their lives.

Many are navigating unfamiliar systems - housing, healthcare, education - often with limited English and very little support. It can be difficult to know where to start.

Asylum Welcome works alongside people at this point, offering practical advice, guidance, and community-based support. This might mean helping someone understand their rights, access services, or simply find a place where they feel welcome.

We are fundraising to support this work.

The aim is straightforward: to make sure people have the support they need to move forward and take part in their communities with dignity and confidence.
