We am doing the Thames Bridges Trek 2024, a 25k walk, to raise funds for an incredible charity, Road To Freedom.

The world is witnessing unbearable atrocities to the people of Palestine and Sudan. While people shouldn't have to leave, some have been able to escape and those people are now refugees and desperately need our support. Road To Freedom is raising funds for displaced Sudanese and Palestinian families living in Cairo. They provide immediate aid and long term support for those who need it most.

GAZA, PALESTINE // We are all witness to the atrocities in Gaza which have been documented all over social media by brave individuals, many of whom have lost their lives to show the world the true horrors of this genocide. Tens of thousands of innocent civilians have lost their lives and the entire territory has been left completely destroyed over the past 9 months.

SUDAN // Since 15th April 2023, fighting between armed factions in Sudan has seen over 4 million people flee their homes, including 900,000 refugees. Recently, the crisis has worsened as fighting continues to block access to food essentials, which has caused up to 17,000 children a day to go without food.

As a mum of two young children, I am so aware of how privileged I am to tuck my kids up in warm beds, with full bellies, in a safe house, in a safe town, in a safe country. Parents in Palestine and Sudan are rarely as lucky.

All proceeds will go straight towards aid distribution to support displaced Palestinian and Sudanese families, which our team will personally oversee in Cairo. Your donations will be used to purchase food rations, provide medical assistance, accommodation assistance, school support and more.
