There is a clear need to soundproof the ‘Forget Me Not Room' – a dedicated bereavement suite - to enhance the environment for bereaved parents and their family. This will ensure that bereaved parents using the room will have the right space to begin to make special memories with their baby or babies.

All the funds raised will be designated for the purpose of the Bedfordshire Sands project to provide sound-proofed doors for the bereavement suite at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. Once this project is fully funded and its £3,120.96 target reached, any excess will be spent where the need is greatest, helping Sands to continue to deliver its vital services to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, to improve the bereavement care received by parents and families, and to promote research to reduce the number of babies dying.
