Rebecca's story:-

Mark and I used to love walking together and after he sadly died in 2018 a dear friend invited me to walk with her. A few more friends joined us and Saturday Striders were born. We will be walking Around the Block in Mark Myhan's memory. Mark spent the last few weeks of his life in the Michael Sobell Hospice. The care and support we both received was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, even allowing us to host our wedding reception in the beautiful gardens. With access to a dedicated team 24/7 I did not have to worry about Mark's medical needs. Not everyone is so fortunate. Please support us in our walk to help provide more people with hospice care when they need it. Thank you.
