This summer Andy will be running the 87km Comrades Ultramarathon in South Africa on 9 June and Max and Andy will both take on the 100km Race to the Stones Ultramarathon in Oxfordshire on 13 July – which will be Max's first ultramarathon!

The Comrades marathon (https://comrades.com/) is probably the most famous road ultramarathon in the world, run annually between Durban and Pietermaritzburg but in alternating directions. After completing the 'down' run to Durban in 2022, Andy is going back for the 'up' run to Pietermartizburg this year, which is a punishing 87km with an elevation gain of 6,361ft!

The Race to the Stones (https://www.thresholdtrailseries.com/events/race-to-the-stones/) is a 100km trail ultramarathon from Lewknor to the Avebury Stones along the Ridegway, the oldest path in Britain.
