Scotmid's team are taking on the the Port of Leith abseil on 11th May, fundraising for Maggie's!

Gail Thornton, Michal Kazimierczak, Lauren Farwell and Mark Haydon will be amoung the first to abseil off Scotland's first vertical distillery. Never done before, they will descend the 100ft drop off the iconic Port of Leith Distillery. Standing proudly on the waterfront, the Port of Leith Distillery is the UK’s first vertical distillery, a striking nine-storey tower wedged into Edinburgh’s historic harbour.

Scotmid are supporting Maggie's as their charity partner through 2024 and 2025. Maggie’s is a charity providing free cancer support and information in centres across the UK and online. Since the first Maggie’s Centre opened in Edinburgh 25 years ago, they have offered psychological, practical and emotional support, for free, to anyone with cancer and their families.

All proceeds donated to my page will support the costs of Maggie's Cancer Support Specialists across Scotland and Newcastle. Cancer Support specialists are there to listen to how people are feeling, answer any questions they may have and guide them to the right information.
