As a team their story goes back only a couple of years. Adam has come from an army background and is now a family man, where Scott has come from a background of recovery and has worked his way back up the ladder to be where he is today. Both are proud Dads to their 2/3 children and very proud Husband/Fiancè to their partners

Adam & Scott both knew of each other, but officially made good friends when they attempted the 3 peaks 24 hour challenge in the summer 2022. Unfortunately everything was against the group they went with due to van troubles and other issues which led to them missing the 24 hour deadline by 8 minutes. For these guys the challenge wasn't completed. So as a group they set out to do the challenge again and in June 2023 they completed it in 23 hours and 37 minutes. This just proves the determination these guys have when it comes to doing anything together

On the first attempt of the 3 peaks Scott told Adam about how he had a plan to do JOGLE and most importantly do it in only 10 days. After some thought, Adam who has never really cycled in his life said to Scott he would love join in. With that all set the boys knew this challenge was going to be extremely tough and gruelling and have been training hard at the gym and on the bikes since January 2023. The original plan was start at John O'Groats and a van follow them down with their gear and equipment throughout the challenge, whilst stopping at either a hostel or campsite along the way each night. However, after some consideration and careful planning the boys have decided they don't need a van, or a van driver as this will stop any issues with reliability/people dropping out. Instead, they will organise a package to be delivered to their place of stay each night ready for when they get there with gear they may have used and need to top up, food and snacks for the next day and anything else they will need in order to complete the trip. This idea takes away the weight from carrying lots of gear on the bikes without the need for a van and means the boys can really focus then on the ride which is around 100 miles a day. It's a plan, it's set, they just need to keep getting fit and be ready for the almighty challenge they've set themselves.

If you own a business and would like your logo on the boys jerseys then make a donation from £50 to one of their chosen charities, email your logo to adamscottjogle2024@hotmail.com and it will be added to both jerseys the boys will be wearing on the bike ride

Thanks for supporting!
