Source to Sea Challenge 2025 · 19 June 2025 to 20 June 2025 ·

A non-stop team relay race along the full length of the Thames Path. The idea was generated in a pub back in 2015, and since then it has been attempted (and completed!)a handful of times

Story

What is the Source-to-Sea challenge?

On 19th and 20th June, a team from SEGRO will be racing in a team against sector peer, Industrial REIT, and others to raise funds for LandAid.

The race is a non-stop team relay race along the full length of the Thames Path - from the source of the Thames near Cirencester to the Thames Barrier in London. The team will run over 230 miles over 30 hours, through day and night.

On top of the running, this will also be a logistics challenge as we are our own support team – driving ourselves to the next relay point and gathering what food, water and sleep we can along the way. I can’t imagine there will be much sleep. It’s going to be tough!

We hope to raise vital funds and awareness for LandAid and help put an end to youth homelessness across the UK. Any funds you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
