Our team at SG have committed to raising at least £10,000 for the Children's Heart Surgery fund this year. We are aiming to pay for a Babytherm. This new piece of equipment is a high tech platform that allows the Neonatal dept to provide the best thermal environment for (term) babies with congenital heart disease and other surgical conditions whilst they are receiving intensive care.

The heart unit care for many babies with complex congenital heart disease, alongside our cardiology and cardiac surgical colleagues.

This intensive care platform allows staff to prepare babies for surgery in the best environment to put their energies into growing rather than keeping warm.With anything we have left we want to provide as many INR testing kits as we can to help patients stay at home and monitor their blood levels with these vital pieces of kit.

We are a Yorkshire HQ company and many of us are parents. If we can support these families just a little then we would've achieved something really wonderful as a team. Watch this space and our team members JG pages for our fundraising efforts!
