This year it is Sheffield Mencap and Gateway's 70th anniversary, and so to help celebrate this wonderful event we are fundraising by running the Sheffield 10k! I (Rebecca) have been volunteering and working with Sheffield Mencap and Gateway for 3 years now, but am very new to running so this will be a challenge for me. Luckily the wonderful Sian and Fru have kindly offered to join this as a team effort to help raise money for Sheffield Mencap and Gateway and to guarantee that we cross the finish line!

All money donated will help Sheffield Mencap and Gateway to continue to offer their fantastic services, supporting adults and children with learning disabilities and autism (and their carers/families) to live the life they choose and to feel valued, respected and included.
