Members of the Medics Running society will be completing the Sheffield Half Marathon on March 27th to raise money and awareness for the local Cavendish Cancer Care charity.

Money donated is used to offer emotional and physical support to the families of patients diagnosed by cancer through professional counselling and therapy that complements and supports medical treatment.

They also offer specialist support to children up to the age of 18, whose lives have been affected by cancer. This includes one-to-one sessions with the children themselves and offering support and guidance to parents/carers to support their child.

They are funded almost entirely by charitable contributions the local public, so please donate if you can!
