I am doing the 10 mile moonlight walk with my 70 year old Dad and Sisters this year. In memory of my Grandad who was in the Dougie Mac Hospice in the final stages of his wonderful life. He was treated with dignity, compassion and kindness by all the lovely staff at Dougie Mac who give so tirelessly everyday. They are our real life angels and hero’s.

Also in memory of my Grandma who walked the moonlight walk every year in memory of my Grandad and when she couldn’t walk no more she was pushed around in a wheelchair or would cheer us all on from the sidelines. She was always there no matter what! Wind, rain or shine with her glow sticks, sunflowers and glitter and will be there in spirit with us this year.
