Story
Were fundraising in memory of Shivon Upton. A devoted mother, cherished mother-in-law, treasured nanny, and dear friend to so many.
Shivon was truly the brightest light in every room she entered. Her laugh was unforgettable, her kindness unshakable, and her love for her family endless. She leaves behind her 3 children, 6 beautiful grandchildren, and a heartbroken family who adored her more than words can ever capture.
For two years, Shivon fought incredibly hard against bowel cancer, showing remarkable courage, strength, and determination every single day. Even through the hardest moments, she continued to inspire everyone around her with her resilience and warmth. Sadly, despite her brave fight, she passed away, leaving us with cherished memories and an unfillable space in our lives.
We are raising funds in Shivon’s memory to support other people and families battling this disease.
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity and we're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
I'm walking 44 miles with my dog this October and raising money to help save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. The money I raise will help to provide support and information to patients and their families, fund and support research into bowel cancer and support campaigns for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all.
Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with more than 16,500 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable.
