Story

45 deaf yogi's are going to be hiking for 5 days up to Machu Picchu in Peru!

We're excited to be doing this in June and July 2024. Hiking up amongst the mountains, ruins and altitudes. Reaching Dead Woman's Pass at over 4000m above sea level on the way to our final destination - Machu Picchu! The Lost Kingdom of the Incas!

If you'd like to support us along our journey then please check out the other challenges we will be doing solo, with friends or a group over the next few months as preparation for this magical huge challenge!

About the charity

GDA offers practical and emotional support to children and adults living in Gloucestershire, who have been born deaf and are British Sign Lanuage (BSL) users, and those who have become deaf through illness or age.
