Sarah and Sinead for Target Ovarian Cancer

Raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer
In memory of Pauline O’Connell

At Target Ovarian Cancer, we target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives. Stand together. Save lives.

Story

On April 6, Sarah and I be running the Berlin Half Marathon in honour of my incredible mum, Pauline O’Connell.

Mum was diagnosed with grade 4 ovarian cancer and fought with unbelievable strength for almost 10 years. Thanks to treatment, incredible medical teams, support teams, and—most of all—her own love for life (and a good party!), she managed to pack in a whole lot of living in that time.

We’re running to raise funds for Target Ovarian Cancer UK, a charity working to improve early diagnosis, treatment, and support for those facing this cruel disease. Our hope is to give back to other families and to honour Mum’s strength.
