Story
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.
Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
The Sing for Water project has been going since 2002 and was started by Helen Chadwick and Thames Festival in London. Since then the project has raised over £1m.
There has been a London SFW nearly every year since it started, but the project has been joined by regional Sing for Water events and Local projects.
This Sing for Water team, is linking all the different events happening across the country in 2025.
