Challenge 1000 campaign is a fundraising project launched by our Trust (UHDB) empowering teams within the hospital to raise £1000 or more, through the hospital charity for a department close to their heart. All the money we raise will go back into the Cardiac rehab Service towards equipment and staff training ensuring we can continue to deliver a high quality service and provide patients with the care and information needed to look after your heart health.

Cardiac Rehab is offered to patients who have suffered from a cardiac event and helps them recover and get back to as full life as possible. It also gives patients and their families the information they need to look after their heart health and remain well in the future.

As a team we have lots of different events planned over the next few months including: Charlotte running the iconic London Landmarks half marathon in April, Bingo night, Sponsored walk and not forgetting our Annual Patient Xmas Party!!!!!
