1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. Seventy percent of these children will try to hide the problem from the outside world. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing information, advice and support through its free, confidential telephone and email helpline.

This small charity was set up 25 years ago, and every donation, however large or small, is very much appreciated and makes a huge difference to the lives of all the people that they support (both adults and children who have been affected by alcolism).
