Story
On Sunday, 28th June 2026, Sofia and I are taking on the challenge of running 21.1km on her 21st birthday at the Ramathon half-marathon. We have chosen to raise money for Treetops Hospice, a local charity that provides incredible support to families when they need it most. Treetops offers free end-of-life care, emotional support, and bereavement counselling to people across the local community.
We are running in honour of the care they provided for Gracie’s Grandad, Martin, during his final moments. The care and compassion they showed made a lasting difference at such a difficult time, a kindness that is never forgotten.
Treetops is a truly remarkable charity, and with around 80% of its funding coming from donations, every contribution helps them continue their vital work. By taking on this challenge, we hope to support a cause that means so much to local families and help ensure that others can receive the same care and support when they need it most.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for your support.
