In early June 30 employees of VINCI Facilities UK who work on our Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) contract will participate in the Three Peaks Challenge to help raise money for two very worthy causes, both of which are very close to our hearts*.

In January 2023 we were devastated to learn the news of the untimely death of our colleague Shona who died from secondary breast cancer. Shona was a bundle of energy and it’s safe to say our FDIS contract would not have hit its mobilisation start date without her commitment and determination. Make 2nds Count is the charity Shona supported and so we feel it’s only right to honour Shona’s life by raising money for them. Registered Charity No: SC048268

Veterans In Action works with veterans whose lives have been impacted by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The charity is committed to helping veterans and their families grow through being involved in adventurous activities, projects and expeditions that help to rebuild their confidence, self-esteem, and self-belief within an environment they understand and that understands them. Registered Charity No: 1128026

The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England, and Wales. The total walking distance is 37km (23 miles) and the total ascent is 3,064 metres (10,052ft). The team will look to do this over two days!
