Story

As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

I hope this message find you in the best of health and imaan.

We are a group of UCL SOP alumni who are united in an effort to raise money to build a masjid in Sierra Leone during the month of Ramadan.

Please join us on the journey of reward and goodness and secure your Sadaqatul Jaariyah today.

‘Whosoever builds a house (masjid) for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise.’ [Tirmidhi]

To begin with, we are aiming to build a medium sized masjid which costs approximately £10,000.

IF we are able to surpass this target, then we will aim to build the larger masjid (£17,000) and thereafter a well to accompany the masjid (£1,200) iA. (Total project cost £18.2k)

*Update 16 May 2020 01:14am*

*Takbeer* By the will of Allah we are very close to approaching our target of £18.2k. (May Allah accept all of our donations)

As we have not reached the end of Ramadan, and the donations are still coming in regularly, we did not want to close the page prematurely. As such, we have decided that any excess donations made on this page will go towards other similar UWT masjid building projects. UWT plans to build ~50 Masjids in Sierra Leone, it is our intention that any excess donations raised will go towards supporting these.

With your help, we want to raise this amount before the end of this blessed month of Ramadan.

Jazakumullahu khayran for taking time to read this page, our duas are with you for donating.

Please share with your friends and family.
