I'm running the London Marathon on Sunday 2 October 2022 in memory of a very special girl, Sophie Charlotte Francis.

We were lucky enough to have Sophie and her wonderful parents Jen & Nick in our NCT group. Sophie was a smiley beautiful baby girl and we cherish the playdates, BBQs and Gymboree fun we shared together.

Jen & Nick have had to endure what no parent should ever go through when Sophie passed away on 9 October 2017 at only 7 months old. Sophie suffered a very rare aggressive cancer. Sadly there is very little research into treatments for childhood cancer and only 2% of cancer research funding in the UK is spent on research that is fully dedicated to childhood and young adult cancer.

I am raising money for Sophie's Wish (through the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust) and Children with Cancer UK to help fund research into childhood cancer treatments and to support families and children who are suffering with this awful disease.

Sophie now has three younger brothers (twins Harry & Louis, and little Alexander) to keep Mummy and Daddy on their toes! You will see some gorgeous photos below of Sophie and some more recent photos of Jen, Nick, Harry, Louis & Alexander.

I am extremely grateful for any donations towards these incredible charities. I am trying to raise equal amounts for both charities, percentages shown below. Although it is not very clear as both teams members are listed as "Becky Beasley", the first team member is Sophie's Wish and the second team member is Children with Cancer UK.
