Soroptimist International Derby is a small group of like minded women who wish to improve the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment and enablement. We do this through supporting local, national and international projects. Our choice to support Breast Cancer Now is part of our work to support and enable women to achieve the lives that they wish to. I have also lost 2 family members to breast cancer and wish to support the cause in their memory - Sharon Nevill and Mavis Blount.

Despite the Pink Ribbon Walk being cancelled, we are going to complete our own version of the walk and would be grateful for any further donations. We are still walking on June 12th - wish us luck!

WE DID IT!! We had a great time enjoying the beautiful weather - a little cool when we started but the day warmed up and we appreciated the wonderful scenery as we walked and caught up with each other's news. A lovely way to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause - there is still time to donate if you feel able - thank you to everyone who has donated so far.
