SP Energy Networks 3 Peaks Challenge 2026

After the incredible success of last year's SP Energy Networks 5 District Walk, we're lacing up our boots once again and taking on an even bigger challenge.

This year, a team from across SP Energy Networks will be tackling the iconic National Three Peaks Challenge, aiming to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) — all within 24 hours.

Leading the team is SP Manweb Licence Director Liam O'Sullivan, alongside a dedicated group of colleagues who are taking on this challenge not only to test themselves physically and mentally, but to raise vital funds for causes that are close to their hearts.

Each team member is supporting a charity that has a personal connection and meaningful impact:

Together, we'll travel the length of Great Britain, cover hundreds of miles, face changing weather conditions, tackle steep climbs, and push ourselves through day and night to complete the challenge within the famous 24-hour window.

While the mountains will test our endurance, determination and teamwork, the real purpose of this challenge is to make a difference. Every donation will help support charities that provide life-changing services, vital research, practical support and emergency assistance to people and families when they need it most.

The National Three Peaks Challenge is often described as one of the UK's toughest team endurance events. Success depends on preparation, resilience, teamwork and looking after one another along the way — values that resonate strongly with all of us at SP Energy Networks.
