Story

"The Speed Project has a reputation for being one of the hardest - and most secretive - relay races in the world" Runners World Magazine

What better event to challenge a group of middle aged men, only half of whom could be considered athletes, to run 340 miles from Santa Monica peer to Las Vegas across the Mojave Desert in 2 days, with each covering a distance of over 40 miles.

Tom Bolton (Captain), Tim Aukshunas (www.aukshunasphoto.com), Simon Bernard, Johnny Ferguson, Simon Fernandez, Duncan Holder, Stephen Hunt, Rob Lamb, Mark O'Flaherty, Tom Wheeley, Bryan Wilkins and Brandon Rennet together form the team of runners and support personnel undertaking this epic adventure together.

We are proud to be running for a fantastic charity. www.thebraintumourcharity.org.
