Raising money for Medical Aid for Palestinians

Medical Aid for Palestinians works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.

Story

In solidarity with the Palestinians who are having to uproot their lives, travelling from the North of Gaza to the South, Strathclyde Union alongside SUMSA have organised a fundraising walk of 25 miles, the length of the Gaza Strip.

The humanitarian disaster is worsening by the hour, The United Nations chief Antonio Guterres, warned that thousands of people in the besieged Gaza were "simply starving", with most of the people homeless and trapped in a small area with Israel cutting off supplies of water, food, fuel and electricity to Gaza, an act the United Nations has called a form of collective punishment.

This is why we have decided to walk the length of the Gaza Strip to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). Any donations big or small will be deeply appreciated and will undoubtedly make a huge difference.

Together let us raise money so that we can significantly improve the lives of individuals who are in immediate need.
