Hannah and Jonny will be running Oxford Half for SSNAP in October!

SSNAP supported Hannah and Jonny during their twins stay in the John Radcliffe Hospital after being born at 34 weeks and weighing in at a little over 3lbs.

During the twins stay in HDU, the charity provided emotional support as well as much need snacks for the long days sat next to incubators. They also provide thoughtful gifts and memory boxes which enable parents to remember and reflect on their journeys while little ones get a keepsake of their own.

We want to raise money for this amazing charity that not only helps parents during challenging and emotional times but also supports the incredible staff who put everything they have into looking after unwell newborns.

SSNAP support sick newborn, their parents and those that care for them; by providing emotional, medical, financial and informational support.

SSNAP was founded in 1982 and has supported the Newborn Care Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital ever since. The unit can care for up to 56 babies at any one time and is a Level 3 Centre, the most sick and premature babies from across the Thames Valley, are looked after here in Oxford.
