Story
This year marks 40 years since the record-breaking 1985 Oxford-to-Henley row—a gruelling 50-mile feat that helped shape the future of St Anne’s College rowing. To celebrate, some of the original crew, alongside fellow alumnae, are taking on this epic challenge once again!
Your support will not only honour their achievement but also help fund the next generation of rowers at St Anne’s Boat Club. As a former women-only college, St Anne’s has historically lacked the sporting facilities available to its male counterparts. Now, we’re working to change that—ensuring rowing at St Anne’s is accessible, well-supported, and competitive.
Donations will go toward essential coaching, sustainable training opportunities, and alternative sessions at Dorney Lake when river conditions make rowing impossible. More time on the water means more rowers, better performance, and a stronger future for St Anne’s Boat Club.
Your support will ensure we can increase participation and performance.
