Story
Stick it to Sarcoma (In memory of Joey Gabay). Joey was diagonsed with Sarcoma in 2008 at the age of 41. He underwent 5 surgeries and numerous chemotherapy treatments, some of these experimental, and we realised how important research was especially when it is a rare form of Cancer. Sadly he passed away in 2012. We are grateful that research gave him these 4 years as his prognosis was much worse. As a result of this, Stick it to Sarcoma was formed and our fundraising began in earnest. From a skydive, to numerous functions, Half marathons and climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro, we have managed to raise over £100000 in his memory. We could not be more grateful to our family, friends and supporters who have helped us achieve this incredible amount. But the work isn't over. More and more people are being diagnosed and although early detection is paramount, research is just as important. Help us make a difference and donate to this worthy cause.
