Story
Kathryne was diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma in early 2024. Despite surgery and intensive treatment, she passed away in March 2025, having spent her final weeks at St John’s Hospice in Doncaster—the same place that cared for her father in 2022. The hospice offered not only exceptional care but also comfort and dignity to Kate and her family.
Henry Erskine, aged 32, was diagnosed in 2021 with leiomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer. After surgery and radiotherapy, he was monitored until 2023, when the cancer returned and spread. Henry bravely continued treatment, determined to meet his unborn twins. He passed away in February 2025; his twins were born the following month.
We’re raising funds in memory of Kate and Henry for St John’s Hospice and Sarcoma UK to honour their courage and ensure others receive the same level of care and support. Any donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. Thank you.
