Will Miles, Nathan Dennison, Adam Philips and Carl Meade are taking part in the Samworth charity challenge on the 18th June 2022, the challenge consists of, cycling, running, and Kyaking ,

we are aiming to raise £2000 for the wonderful charity the Daisy Garland, this charity has helped one of our collegues family through one of their most difficult times, they haver supported both Parents and their yoiung Son Issac

Isaac was born three years ago to our Sutton Fields friend and colleague Scott Linford, and his partner Sarah. This beautiful baby has been diagnosed with a multitude of conditions in his short life so far, and is showing such strength of character and determination battling his way through each and every week. Isaac was diagnosed with a MED12 gene mutation which has resulted in many other conditions that he needs to deal with, including Lujan-Fryns syndrome, Multi-focal Epilepsy seizures and misplaced organs including a kidney which is positioned in his pelvis.

Scott and Sarah have already raised over £1,000 for The Daisy Garland in their own time and we want to help them raise as much as possible in order that the charity can give the same hope and help to other families with small children battling drug resistant epilepsy and other conditions, that they have to Isaac.

Scott told us that The Daisy Garland have been by their side, through Isaac's diagnosis offering help in every way they can. They are focused on delivering the means for a specialist keto diet which is proven to reduce seizures in children - often leading to life changing improvements and recovery. Unfortunately, while Scott and Sarah have seen a small improvement in Isaac, the outlook is not favourable and he has a very difficult battle ahead of him, but his mum and dad, along with The Daisy Garland, are determined to make it as easy as possible. We want to do what we can to help them do that for Isaac and all the other children that need their help now and in the future.
