We are an Ayrshire based group who meet monthly. We chat about our diagnoses and find support and comfort knowing we are not alone.

Each year in the UK, approximately 5,900 people are diagnosed with myeloma.

Myeloma can be a lonely diagnosis, so many ifs and buts, and no one treatment suits all.

Myeloma UK invests in innovative, life-changing research, advocates for patients to get access to new treatments on the NHS and provides free information and support services to patients and their families.

They help myeloma patients, their family and carers, by using your donations to develop new approaches to myeloma treatment through their biomedical research programme which includes translational research projects and the development of early phase clinical trials. They also use their Health Services Research Programme and patient advocacy to get patients the highest quality of care and access to the best treatments.

Myeloma UK have been with us all from day one of diagnosis and helped us navigate the world of Myeloma and all the complications that brings.

There is no amount of thanks we can give to Myeloma UK… our next best thing is to donate what we can to support their work. With the hope that one day, in the near future, that all us Myeloma patients hope to hear is, it’s not detected in your bloods.
