At The Tax Shop Group this year we are supporting the Northampton Hope Centre by doing many different fundraisers, However this is the biggest challenge and we hope you can support us.

Both Gina Lay and Caroline Bailey are going to Abseil down the express lift tower on Saturday 3rd September 2022, for both of us this is a massive challenge with both having the fear of heights and falling.

For Caroline this is going to be a huge achievement as only two years ago she was struck down with covid and ended up being fully ventilated and in a coma for 12 days and a further 12 days still in ITU, in total Caroline spent 9 weeks in hospital and had to learn to do everything again from talking and eating to walking, Caroline has been left with damaged lungs, a minor brain injury and lower mobility than before but is determined that none of this is going to stop her.

For Gina this will also be a huge achievement with the fear of heights and not being in control and is something she has wanted to do for some time but never had anyone to do it with her.
