In February 2025 Natalie’s beautiful, courageous, funny and strong willed daughter Arabella (also known as AB to those that loved her) died as a result of complications from a stem cell transplant.

At Arabella’s funeral Natalie encouraged everyone to “Be more AB”, which was be brave, stand up for what you believe in, dance like no one else is watching and above all else, be kind.

She is desperately missed by all of us and in the spirit of Be More AB, we are running the Great North Run to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.

Cure Leukaemia has runners across the UK, Running for a Cure, raising funds to support Research Nurses deliver new drugs and treatments to patients. The work Cure Leukaemia has started with paediatric patients will save lives and would have saved Arabella in another time.
