We are Team Alex, and we’ve taken on an incredible challenge — to run the London Marathon in support of the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Our inspiration? Alex — a true fighter, whose courage and determination leave us in awe every single day. Despite being diagnosed with HME, a rare bone tumour, when he was 10-months old, enduring 20 surgeries, and pushing through countless hours of rehabilitation, Alex refuses to be defined by his illness. Instead, he runs. And not just runs — he runs fast, he runs strong, and he runs with purpose.

When Alex signed up to run the next London Marathon, we knew we had to join him — to run beside him, to cheer for him, and to help raise vital funds for the research that gives hope to so many like him.

We’ll handle the miles, the sweat, and the blisters — but we need you to power us forward. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to better treatments, more research, and brighter futures for those battling bone cancer.
