Story
Our world turned upside down on 12th June 2024, when our beautiful daughter suddenly died from a cardiac arrest.
Olivia (Liv) was a healthy, young 19-year-old woman who was incredibly happy, vibrant and loving individual, her laughter was contagious, and her kindness knew no bounds. She had a compassionate soul with a unique ability to make everyone she met feel special and loved.
Her creativity shone through in everything she did, from her studies to her hobbies, and she approached life with an enthusiasm that was truly remarkable.
Though her time with us was far too short, Olivia’s legacy of compassion, intelligence, and love will live on in our hearts. We will forever cherish the memories of her bright smile, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering dedication to her dreams.
A light has gone out, without so much as a flicker, but what remains is the precious memory of how brightly it shone and the warmth it gave.
Help us keep Olivia’s spirit and ‘legacy of compassion’ alive and for supporting this important cause.
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. Research initiatives and supporting bereaved families.
By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
