For 35 years Severn Hospice has provided care and support to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and North Powys who are living with an incurable illness.

In November we were very much in need of this support when no treatment options remained for Mum's lymphoma. Her wish was very much to remain at home until the end of her life, and Severn Hospice's expert advice and support enabled this to happen. For this we are incredibly grateful.

Severn Hospice is currently undergoing extensive renovation work at their Shrewsbury site to better meet the needs of patients and families.

This winter myself and friends are training up to walk the Pontesbury Potter on March 21st - a 13 mile event across the beautiful Shropshire countryside - in memory of Mum and in the hope of raising some funds for this brilliant local service.
