My sister Maureen (Madill), brother-in-law Brian (Mackie) and I are tackling the St Giles Cycle Spring 2021 (on Sunday 23rd May) to help raise funds for the hospice. My late husband Dai, who once thought nothing of cycling to Wales from Sutton Coldfield in his school holidays (or so he told me) was cared for at St Giles and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Brian, a proper cyclist, is taking it easy with the 52-mile circuit and Maureen (who uses her exercise bike as more than a clothes hanger) and I are pushing my limits by attempting 27 miles.
