This March, 14 officers and cabinet members from Blaby District Council are swapping our bed’s for sleeping bag’s to raise vital funds and awareness for veterans that are experiencing homeless in the UK right now.

As a Council, we already support our Veterans by holding monthly coffee mornings, Raising the flag on Armed forces Day and Armistice Day, but we would like to go a step further and raise funds and awareness for Homeless Veterans in the county and our District.

With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.
