Sarah and Lucy are saddling up this September for a 320 kilometre cycling adventure through the rolling lanes of Norfolk and Suffolk (19th - 21st September, to be exact).

We’re pedalling for a purpose—raising funds for Envision, a small charity with a mighty mission: empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop the life, employability and social action skills they need to thrive. This event has been running for 8 years and has played a huge role in helping Envision turn big dreams into real change.

Sarah has been involved in pretty much every way possible over the years—either on the bike or as part of the support crew, always in the thick of it.

For Lucy, the past 18 months have been anything but easy. She lost her husband to cancer in September last year, and in January had a hip replacement. At first, committing to the ride seemed impossible—but with Sarah’s encouragement (and the promise of a two-woman cycling squad), here we are.

Cycling has been a lifeline for both of us—part fitness, part therapy, and part excuse to eat cake without guilt. As we pedal (and possibly creak) our way further into our 60s, we’re determined to keep those wheels spinning.

The 8th annual Envision Cycling Challenge is here! The Envision Cycling Challenge is all about getting fit, pushing yourself, making friends, and having fun, while raising vital funds for Envision!

This year, we're taking on a brand-new 3-day route through Norfolk and Suffolk, exploring the stunning coastline, countryside, and historic trails.

Every pedal will help Envision empower less-advantaged young people with the Essential Skills and confidence proven to support their education, employment and wellbeing.
