In memory of our much adored wife, mother, sister and friend Breda, who sadly passed away on December 30th, many of us are taking part in the Belfast City Marathon.

In total there will be 25 people taking part in various capacities. A number of Breda's friends and relatives are completing the 8 mile walk. There are also two relay teams plus her husband Pat and friend Marc are completing their first ever full marathon.

Breda was a fun loving mother who dedicated her life to her friends and family. The fact that so many are deciding to take part in this event is a clear testament to the love that remains for the beautiful person that Breda was. It is a perfect way to express our gratitude to her by completing such a challenging event (4th of May)on what would be her birthday.

All proceeds will go to Cancer Fund for Children who have provided invaluable support for the Woolsey family before Breda's passing and continue to do so. The many areas of support they provide for children such as counselling and their Daisy Lodge retreat are so important for many families going through such challenging times when a loved one fights cancer.
