Team Corporate Broking & UK ECM is running a half marathon!

Charlie, Louise, Annabel, George, Leo and Hilary from the Corporate Broking & UK ECM team have signed up for a 21.1K / 13.1M run, to raise funds for the Charlie Waller Trust. This is a charity that helps open up the conversation around mental health and depression, providing training and educational programmes to try to ensure that young people are equipped to look after their own mental wellbeing. The charity was originally set up in memory of Charlie Waller, a young man who tragically took his own life in September 1997.

The last 18 months have taken their toll on the mental strength of even the most resilient among us. And so, at this critical time, when the mental health crisis amongst young people is more pressing than ever, we want to take this opportunity to raise much needed funds and awareness for the cause. Our fundraising efforts will help to fund talks, training and resources in schools, universities and workplaces, helping to improve the mental health of young adults.

The 6 runners are by no stretch of the imagination capable athletes, but what we lack in skill, we make up for in determination. The winter weather or pre-Christmas festivities will not stand in the way of our rigorous training efforts*.
