Four close school friends with zero prior experience in running any distance further than to the bus stop. We wanted to do something that would challenge ourselves physically and mentally and decided on a marathon. Not only did we want to challenge ourselves but we also wanted to do it in aid of a good cause.

So we have teamed up with Pieta an amazing charity that provides free counselling and support to anyone who is struggling with mental health issues, regardless of their age, gender, or background. Pieta have been at the forefront of breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health in Ireland since its creation in 2006 and we felt like it was the perfect charity to run for.
