The Douglas Macmillan Hospice and its staff took very good care of my partner Carl Cornwall who was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in April 2021. They were also very supportive to myself throughout this time and I am extremely grateful for all their kindness. So myself and friends came up with the idea for "Brave the Shave" to give something back and help others in similar circumstances.
