Our team consists of 40 friends and family walking/running/hopping their way to 200k to be Stay At Home Heroes to raise vital funds for Meningitis Research Foundation. Finn was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis in 2018 aged 4 and successfully beat the infection after 14 days of IV antibiotic therapy at RACH. As a team we are all thankful he was lucky to be discharged without any long lasting effects, but we realise that this is not always the case and without research/awareness the outcome could have been a lot different! This is why we are undertaking this At Home Superhero challenge.
