We fund GM1 Gangliosidosis research to save children's lives

Story

Me, Massimo aka the Wolverine and the amazing Scott and James from the breakfast show at Tameside Radio are taking on Velocity 2 zip wire in Wales! You can reach upto speeds of 80mph!!!!! The boys will also be set challenges by boss man Andy every week on the lead upto z day! Tune in on weekday mornings to hear more!

We are doing this to raise much needed money and awareness for the Cure Gm1 Foundation.

My little girl Florence who is nearly 6 suffers from late infantile Gm1. She has already lost the ability to walk and talk and we‘ve been told she wont live beyond her tenth birthday.

We dared Scott and James live on Tameside Radio to do this for Florence and the Gm1 Foundation! They admirably accepted the challenge. It was only after we told them really what it was like and what they are in for!

For me this os my second time on the zip wire and for Mass well

he is a seasoned pro! Doing this for Florence and all the other children means not giving up on hoping for a cure one day.

Thank you for reading
