Story
This photo was taken 6 years ago when Gill was nearing the end of treatment for breast cancer. Aside from her husband, Christine was the first person she told of her diagnosis, and Gill credits the support of friends & family as well as the amazing care and treatment from our wonderful NHS for getting her through.
It was breast cancer screening and researched treatments which literally saved Gill's life, as well as the psychological post-treatment support provided by Breast Cancer Now's "Moving Forward" course. Breast Cancer Now are tirelessly campaigning for more women to take up screening as well as funding world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer.
By 2030, its estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone.
By supporting our Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
