Our children attend a public charter school, Monterey Bay Charter School (MBCS). It is a public Waldorf education inspire school with the hands, heart and heads philosphy at its core. Due to being a county charter, MBCS receives less government funding than public schools. Fundraising ensures we can continue to offer the diverse and rich curriculum that makes MBCS special. Our school is a special place to learn joyously and live courageously. Our students are top performers in the state and leaders in the community. Schools across California are facing deep budget cuts that will greatly affect how all schools operate.
