We are a team of staff and volunteers from Home-Start Glasgow South walking the Glasgow Kiltwalk on Sunday 27th April to raise money for Home-Start Glasgow South. Home-Start Glasgow South is a family support charity supporting families in the Southside of Glasgow since the year 2000. We support families from as early as pregnancy until they no longer need the support or their youngest child is 8 years old. In 2023, we supported 357 local families, including 758 children. We work with families to help them overcome issues affecting their lives with a range of family support services. Issues like isolation, mental health difficulties, bereavement, family breakdown, addiction, physical ill-health and more.

Home-Start Glasgow South can provide 1:1 support through home-visiting volunteers and Family Support Workers as well as through groups in the community.

Your support would go a long way to help Home-Start Glasgow South continue this vital support for families in the community. If you can give any amount, it is very much appreciated by the whole team and will help us get through the 14 mile walk (hopefully not in the rain!)
