TeamJack was formed when Jack Faulkner (aged just 15) sadly passed away from an aggressive brain cancer back in October 2018. He is missed so much by so many

His family & friends began to fundraise to help the 2 organisations that helped Jack and his family throughout his treatment.

Sheffield Children's Hospital - Jack received all of his treatment through this wonderful organisation. We spent 79 nights in hospital being looked after various teams under the watchful loving eye of Ward 5.

CLIC Sargent - This team provide the support and advice needed to families that find themselves in this desperate situation. They were there when we needed them and they continue to provided exceptional support to family & friends to this day.

To date, TeamJack has raised over £100,000 which has been split between the two charities. Jack had some specific requests that the money should be spent on and each organisation has used the money to meet his requests.

Just Giving have changed the way that 'teams' are viewed and in the new format the offline donations are not counted in the grand total.

The original TeamJack page raised £100K in total (pictured below). This is the new TeamJack Team Page where we will continue to raise money and moving forward we will use this page to track the total. £100K on the old page + whatever this page totals!!

Choosing one charity, or the other is completely your personal choice. You could even split your donation across the two. Whichever you choose, be assured the money will be put to good use.

Obviously this year has been massively impacted by COVID-19 but there is still opportunity to do something

Sheffield Half Marathon is postponed but myself and Andy Hough are still going to run 21K as Batman & Robin on 27th September around Chesterfield

Rosie Ratcliffe has dontated her hair to Princess Trust and has raised over £700 for TeamJack

TeamTheo Skydive is happening on Saturday 12th September (fingers crossed). Leanne, Laura, Pete, Neil and Mel are all counting down the days when they will be jumping out of a perfectly good plane!!!!

Monsal Trail Half Marathon - (Sunday 24th March) completed by Carrie Hancock raising an amazing £950

Clumber Park Duathlon (23rd March 2019) - Dan completed this in 2 hours 27 minutes. Quicker than expected so happy with that

Olivia & Trish (2nd & 3rd March) raised £467.57 completing a sponsored silence

RadioTrade & Motorola Solutions (16th January 2019) provided prizes and organised a raffle generating £1150 in donations from multiple partners within the radio community

2018

Hardwick 10K (19th July) - Dan. Completed in 54:47 minutes running alongside Claire Hynes of GAP (American clothing retailer) who have kindly agreed to contribute a massive £2000 to the total.

Sheffield 10K (23rd September) - Dan will be running this alongside Joanne Janes who has run this race supporting SCH for a number of years now. Dan ran a PB of 47:48, Joanne ran a PB of 56:3

Bents Green School 'Bake it Better' Cake Sale - £539 (this amount is not included in this total but is also going directly to Ward 5

Walk for Wards 10K (Longshaw, 9th September) - Sally, Emily, Jasmine and the CheerMania team, mums & girls. Completed by the girls with loads of money raised

My good friend and volleyball team mate Carlos Sobczyk has set himself the incredible challenge of climbing 3 of the toughest ascents in the Alps: Stelvio, Mortirolo and Grossglockner. A massive total ascent of 10,000m (only on these 3 climbs).

Sundowner Sprint Triathlon (York, 1st September) - Myself and Dan Janes are taking part in this sprint triathlon. Not sure how he has convinced me that this was ever a good idea - Completed in 1:25:25 which is quicker than I could have ever expected, and actually quite enjoyable

Warrior Club & Rockbox Fitness Fundraiser (Sunday 9th September) - Leanne, Jade and the Warrior & Rockbox members are enduring a 3 hour fitness session with all proceeds being donated to this cause. Well over £500 raised x

Motorola Solutions Raffle (November 2018) - £710 raised, thank you for your support

Robin Hood Off Road Duathlon (3rd November 2018) - completed in 1:15 at Sherwood Pines alongside Dan Janes and Neil Motley. Top job lads
